Butterman, it might be wise to check the dealer price compared to your friendly Cummins distributor... the dealer tends to be more expensive, and often they have no clue about what you're talking about
Where at in Illinois?
I have an 06 also that had a coolant leak around the exhaust manifold. Mine was cured just by tightening up the clamps. There is a recent thread about a cummins part number for a better fix. I'll see if I can find it.
Looks like someone beat me to it, but here is the...
Wingate, it shifts through all the gears. I'm almost positive its not in the transmission. Seems like something in the bell housing as you stated. It'll move about a foot, and then act like its in neutral. It doesn't seems like the clutch is engaging all the way. Hopefully they will tear it...

Thanks,
Jake
Thank you for all the replies. The joints all seem to be good. Inferno, that's what I was thinking about last night. I took the truck for a short drive around the block today and when turning out of the driveway it almost seemed like it was in 4 wheel drive  Does anyone know the size of...
I've been back down in Texas for school for about a month now. When I was driving home tonight, I noticed a vibration when I let off the accelerator, it was gone when at a constant speed or accelerating. In the short time that I could look at it, it didn't seem to matter if the truck was in gear...
