Attention: TDR Forum Junkies To the point: Click this link and check out the Front Page News story(ies) where we are tracking the introduction of the 2025 Ram HD trucks.
I had to trim a small amount of trim off the lower fender on the inside. They barely rub when turning sharp and the body rolls. My HD coils laying in the floor should resolve this. Not sure how much the new front coils will lift the truck??? The 295's should clear without any trouble on a 4x4. I...
Those are actually new wheels and tires. I went to a 8 inch wide 16 inch steel wheel with 285/75/16 all the way around. Now that I have a wide tire on it I am a bit worried about rocks. It rides so much smoother now with some rubber underneath it.
I will post better pics tomorrow.
I am...
Well many of you have helped with my questions and I think it is only fair to show you what you have helped build. I bought this truck from my dad, I remember riding in it when I was in Jr. High. I am 26and have a little different taste than dad. Dad bought an 2005 CTD. What do you guys think...
I am trying to decide between
BD 40hp injectors
PDR POD's
At this point I am shooting for 250-300 max HP
I want to keep a stock IP pump in it.
Stock Turbo w/16cm housing
Stock transmission, BD power TC, B&M Shift Kit, Deep Alum. pan, BIG cooler with fan.
What are HP limits ON stock

I will do that on the fuel pin, Thankyou.
Turning the starwheel, will that increase power or just smoke?
I just want to make as much reliable power without blowing alot of unburned fuel out the pipe.
Thankyou for all the help.
I am going to have to do something about this open Diff. now...
OK, That is where screwed up. I turned my fuel pin 90* CW. I SHOULD have gone CCW! I will fix that.
Sorry, it is a intercooled truck with Overdrive trans, 2wd.
SIGNATURE UPDATED
Not sure on the price for transmission work. I will post back on that.
I bought the BD converter
The B&M...
stock full boost was about 18lbs
Did the 16 housing (no increase)
Turned power screw in (20-21lbs full boost)
Turned t25 screw in two turns ( better drivability less lag)
When I turned the screws I had to idle the truck down about 300-350 RPM, so I know it increased power, the converter...
Well I got it out without the porta-power easily, I will use it to put it back in if I have any trouble. It goes very smooth whith all the bolts removed.
Thankyou everybody.
OK I am a retard!! A blind one at that! I found that the fourth bolts. Thanks for sticking firm guys!!! I will remove those and check back.
Thank you every body.
Gives you an idea of how greasy this thing is underneath!!
I am replacing the headgasket right now as well, things are going good...
Yes, I removed the transmission mount and have jacked the trans up to the cab.
As far as the bolts that hold the crossmember to the frame, my truck has three on each side attaching it to the frame. (can someone with a 4x2 confirm this) But I have moved the crossmember around propably 4 inches or so...
Interesting, I am positive it has only 6 bolts, the crossmember moves all around but not enough to unbind it. I just got off the phone with Pat@BD-Power and he said they always use a frame spreader to pul the crossmember when they are doing autos. So that is the next plan. Thank you for the...
I am working on my bosses 96 5spd CTD. Removing the trans. it has a gearvendor. So for the whole thing to drop out easy, the crossmember needs to be out. I removed all six bolts holding it in. We have beat it with a hammer and jacks, even spread the frame apart just a bit, but we still cannot...
These are all good help! I will upgrade to a 40amp, I had to go on up to the 30 the other day ( mine blew when I started it as well).
One thing I have started doing is before I start the truck I make sure the AC/Heater control is OFF before I start the start up process does not seem to blow...
