still no luck getting the converter to lock up manually. I have double checked everthing i did and with the exception of cutting the oarnge / black wire i am positive everything is correct. I am now contemplating having the computer reflashed even though the manufacture date is after the stated...
Thats what I figured. Had to try. I tried a regular switch and still can't get it to lock up. I cut the B-11 wire ( oarnge / black wire ) before seeing the instruction next to the diagram theat reads -DO NOT CUT, so I could use solder and shrink tube. It came out nice. Oops... My truck was...
Just curious if anybody out there has used a factory O/D off button for torque converter lock up. I purchased a spare in hopes of making this work because I thought it would look clean but cant seem to figure it out. I can only get the switch to operate momentarilly. My truck is a 96 2500 4x4...
