I just put a 6'' lift on my 03, I noticed there is quite a bit of play in the ball joints. The truck has 103,000 miles, alot of them offroad in mexico and south texas. I've heard they are a PIA to change. Anybody changed their's lately, what's a good brand to use if I end up replacing them myself?
I'm on my 5th dodge truck with a ctd, three 1 tons and two 3/4 tons. I don't see how their can even be a legitimate comparisson between the cummins, powerbroke, and duracrap. :)
Mine has been out for months. I tried to replace the bulb also, but it didn't make a difference. As stated in the previos post, I think you have to replace the plastic piece that the bulbs mount to.
My dad had to replace the whole piece in his 03'
The ride is a little rougher than the stock suspension setup. I could prob. soften it up a little if I lowered the air pressure, running 50lbs right now. Thanks for the compliments, I'm pleased with the way it turned out.
I just got finished installing a 6'' superlift kit on my 03'. Tires are 37x13. 50x17 toyo mt's mounted on american racing mojave wheels, teflon finish.
I had bfg 315's mounted on stock wheels previously.
I just got finished installing a 6'' superlift on my 03. I haven't had a chance to drive it yet though, I'm still waiting on tires and wheels. I'll post once I get it up and running.
I'm in the process of installing a 6'' superlift on my 03 ctd, everything is finished except replacing the drop pitman arm. I can't get the factory arm loose. I have tried a heavy duty puller with a big impact, and big breaker bar, it won't even budge.
