I would also recommend the air bag setup, that is one of the best things I have done to me truck for load handling. However that being said I would go the little extra for the compressor, which allows you to adjust the load on the fly.

You are both correct, ATS is the first place to go. I have also been working with them; but I am now of the opinion that the issue is with the electrical system of the truck. Taking it in tommorrow to a buddies shop for diagnostic check.
