    6.7 Performance Question

I appreciate the compliment - I'm proud of the truck. I must admit though if I had my way I'd be rollin' in the Resistol version! I fell in love with that beaut at the Dallas Car show this past march. . The grass is always greener ---- :p I bet the 2010's are really gonna be...

    6.7 Performance Question

The dashhawk is great - 100's of gauges at your finger tip. Flawless really. I actually bought it for my Hemi Ram - to monitor the trans temp -carried it over to the 6. 7 'cause I had it... . As I said it works great and can help you keep track of the regen modes too - just make sure you...

    6.7 Performance Question

I have a question for the pro's as I'm rather new to diesels - the 6. 7 is my first. The question is at the end but first I wanted to share our experience and brag a bit on Dodge's powertrain! Oo. Last week I took my family on our first cross country trip pulling our 8. 5K travel trailer...

    Giant Driveline Lurch/Clunk When Shifting?

Mine does the same thing - especially when going from drive to reverse and back again - or even when just changing from drive to park. Dealer claims its normal. It pretty da*$ loud - makes me cringe every time. The diff is bullet proof, but it still makes me cringe. Evindently the torque...

    DPF 90% full

Just thought I would give an update for anyone interested in this thread - Went to Dallas Dodge today and had the service manager verify that my truck had the latest engine/transmission flash (it already had latest version) and also had him check to make sure the body control computer (overhead...

    DPF 90% full

SAG2 & others - I've had my 6. 7 since december - trouble free. Not so much as a cat near full message. About 2 weeks ago for good measure I had the latest flash applied. About 2 days ago I suddenly received a CAT 80% full message along with a "ding" sound - I looked around wondering...

    No Regen with Cruise Control??

It's a wives tale, urban legend that won't die etc... #@$%! the truck absolutely will regen while using cruise control. I have a dashhawk monitor that shows when the truck is in either of two regen modes. I no longer need it to tell me though, as I can easily tell just by how the truck runs and...

"operating Tips For The Diesel Particulate Filter On 6.7 Liter Turbo Diesel

I hear ya - those of you that use it professionally are in a painful situation right now. You are getting pounded on several fronts now - HUGE fuel costs, Higher initial vehicle costs, lower MPG etc..... Did you get another 6. 7?

    Turbo Recall

How are the 2008 6.7s holding up?

No trouble whatsoever with almost a year and 10K miles of big city - stop and go driving (grocery getting). I have 2 times pulled my 10K trailer for maybe 300 miles. Put the right fuel in - keep the mods OFFFFF, and you'll be just fine. LOVE THIS TRUCK!Oo.

"operating Tips For The Diesel Particulate Filter On 6.7 Liter Turbo Diesel

Somebody needs to add some balance to this site. No - it's a great thing keeping our air cleaner. Everytime I take my two little daughters for a ride with me I'm happier knowing they are not breathing in diesel particular matter (from me). For the record I've had my 6. 7 for almost a...

    6.7 08 Flat Spot

I've had the same thing happen with mine - its always when its in regen mode - runs like a completely different truck, GOBS of power, can smoke the tires from 1 to 3rd gear - and the throttle response is ridiculously twitchy. Only lasts as long as the DPF temps are 1000-1200F you can also...

    DPF's, the reason behind them

Sounds good to me - the fewer people the better!Oo.

    Mo' Power!

Ah! Good point - Wow, the new emmission stuff really takes its toll in more ways than one #@$%!. The power difference is startling, like you stated even more so when cold!
