Well, the light just went out on its own, and everything seems to be OK now. I'm thinking that maybe some emissions system sensor was picking up the grease I used while drilling for the thermocouple, or the anti-sieze I put on the threads. Thanks for the replies.

The Mega is the same wheelbase as a Quad with an 8' bed. It does turn somewhat like a greyhound bus, but you get used to it quickly, and I don't think it's as bad as something like a duallie.
