    Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) I've got codes!!!!!

    :{ My 98 24 valve didn't want to start this morning. Had to keep bumping the starter for a few seconds and after about a minute it started. Anyway, my neighbor has a code reader and we pulled up the following codes: P0720 P1693 P0234 P0234 pending I tried to look these up in my service...

    Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) DTT Noise Filter is great!

    I am having the same problem with the shifting of the transmission up and down between 40-50. When I disengage OD it does the same betweeen 30-40. What is this noise filter and how is it changed? I am a naildriver and not a mechanic. Have some wrench turning experience. Can anyone help? Joe 98. 5...
