    Factory check for leaking freeze plugs.

    when in for last oil change,dealer informs me that they have to check all the 2004. 5 600's for leaking freeze plugs. they do this test by running the engine at full rpm for 3 minutes to do the check. no leaks on my engine,Ram 2500. we also have a 2004. 5 ram 3500,that they say has to be checked...

    defective freeze plugs on 2004.5's ?

    has anyone with a 2004. 5 heard anything about leaking freeze plugs on the blocks?My dealer on last oil change showed me a bulletin from DC to check the block for leaks on the plugs. They hold the engine at max power for 3 minutes to do the check. we have a 2500(was checked no leaks)also a 2004...
