So I got my transmission all apart and now I need to put the new nut on. I have been reading and finding mixed opinions on the "replacment nut". Some say to tack weld the nut to the shaft. I also need to get the tools to put the nut back on. Does anyone know how much they cost, or if you can get...

They checked it with the pin. I went and talked with them today and they said it may have slipped again. They said sometimes they'll redo it a few times. He asked me if I got the gear back on correctely or is it off by a tooth. I'm going to check it tommrow when I put a new front main seal in.

Mine has been doing this a little too. Not too bad. The timing was just done. I'm not too worried about it runs fine if I let it warm up a little more and as long as I plug it in it is ok. Oh an my grid heaters are working I think my head lights dim a lot when it's cold.
