    Intermittent AC Whistle or Whine

Lamp may be my next and last resort!! If the noise is concurrent with the light - I guess I must assume I need a new AC compressor? At least before it breaks on me!

    Intermittent AC Whistle or Whine

Thank you for your input. I put a new belt on with hoses and pulleys and a full egr service and found one of the clamps broken at the turbo on the air intake tube at that same time (8 months ago 99,000 miles). I thought this may be the source of sound source. Replaced all clamps from air...

    Intermittent AC Whistle or Whine

Well yes maybe slightly- it is very quiet whistle - my wife nor sister can’t hear it and I am deaf in left ear from a brain tumor! The sound ONLY occurs in that cruising - non load - engine speed. Once I push on the gas or let it decelerate it goes away. But the instant I cut off AC it stops...

    Intermittent AC Whistle or Whine

Thank you! Stays garaged when not towing 5th wheel. I clean it meticulously and am under it every 6 months doing oil service and just inspecting it (I do all my own service) Not to say some small tree debris couldn’t have gotten in. No wire or rodent issues. No cabin air filter - did not come...

    Intermittent AC Whistle or Whine

In my 2014 Ram 3500 Laramie I have an intermittent whine whistle noise that is barely audible (wife says she can’t hear it) only when AC is on. It also occurs mostly or maybe only when I am in that sweet spot on the accelerator - when there is little load or little deceleration (like cruising)...

STELLANTIS NEWS: All-New 2025 Ram 1500 Will Offer "Class-Shattering" Range

I wonder if can be towed for wheels down - like behind a RV? My wife's hybrid Toyota must be towed fully on a trailer or flatbed due to the electric aspect of the hybrid.

“CUMMINS AGREES TO PAY $1.67 BILLION..."

SO, has anyone found out specifically what this "67A" Emission Recall / Re - flash does to our trucks? I got my notice in the mail. Mine is at 98K - all stock - burns clean from what I can tell - NO SOOT in tail pipe. My 2014 has been Super Dependable except recent unexpected fan pulley hub...

Throttle Pedal Cutting out Under Load

I had a dead pedal feel and then the red trouble light (lightning bolt) and service electronic throttle message. I replaced the crankshaft position sensor, and it fixed it. I found at 90k while pulling on long trip that the fan pulley bearing had failed allowing the fan pulley wheel to dip into...

    Rfe 68 service

So I did My first at 41 K and will be doing another at 68 k next week because of some upcoming trips with 5th wheel. I have always used the Mopar filters and fluid (12 qts at big A for around $65) and use the rest to replace steering fluid. I finally invested in a Mity Vac 7300 ($90) and man...
