Gary: I think this is the same O ring that IH uses. Try IH p/n 1812348C1, thy label it as a sleeve. It is sold in a package of 5. Hope this helps, John

Jess One of my 99's does this on a regular basis. It locks in 5th or more often reverse, while the shifter feels like it's in neutral. If this what you are experiencing, I find that taking the load off of the transmission and pushing in the clutch pedal makes the shift rail slide back easily...

You have to pop out the center plastic piece, then you will find a nut screwed onto the threaded shaft. Remove the nut, I think it takes a deep 13mm, then unscrew the knob.

Gary, I just happen to be looking through my 96 FSM for an electrical problem. In my manual, starting on page 8W-70 has all the splice info, and page 8W-90 has all the connector/ground locations. Hope this helps. John

Terry, Sounds more like the fuel solenoid relay is acting up. Next time it does not start the first time, leave the key in the on position pull up on the fuel solenoid and try to start it again. If it starts you'll probably need to replace it. John

There is an authorized Bosch repair center right in Austin. I used them to tune my P7100 and repair the injectors when I rebuilt one of my 12 valve engines. I don't have their card with me but I believe it was Austin Fuel injection service on 5th street. Try this number 512-385-4890. John

I don't think gaskets are available for the dana's. I have changed out the fluids several times and have never been able to find a gasket. I clean the surfaces real good and use an RTV gasket maker and have not had a problem. As for lubes I would suggest a synthetic of your choice. I've been...
