    Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Engine Surging at 1600 RPM

    Ok, I will try turning the OD off and see if I still have the problem. I have made no modifications to the truck at all. I'm totally stock. Hopefully, it's not the APPS sensor because I believe that is a $500. 00 part. Thanks for your help.

    Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Engine Surging at 1600 RPM

    My truck is surging every time my speedometer reaches about 45-50 MPH at approximately 1600 RPMs. Anybody have any ideas? 1999 RAM 2500, 5. 9 L diesel, 24 valve, automatic transmission.
