    City Diesel Reman Turbos.

Does the actuator come with all the gaskets needed, any other seals needed to complete the swap. I'm getting 2 codes U010C and P226C. Clear codes and all is well for a week or more than the U010C again at startup. Clear code again and good to go for another week or so. Did this clear code...

    Cummins in the news.

13 & 14 don't have a concentration sensor in the def tank, not sure about the 15+ trucks. NOX concentration has stayed within acceptable levels for both nox sensors in the exhaust to be happy. A friend with a 13 runs 10% in his truck. Easier to me to run 17%. When the level in the tank gets...

    Cummins in the news.

So, my truck is running so good I hate to take it in. I've been running 17% DEF concentration for the last few years doing real well with that, hate for them to screw with anything. Never an issue with anything engine or emission related coming up on 99K miles.

    Heater grid bolt

Disconnected the HG years ago, no issues.

grid heater power cable attachment at grid heater

Just my opinion. I would remove that GH ASAP. Replace with a new GH or a GH delete plate. Sounds like the stud & nut on the back side has arced enough to loosen things up quite a bit. If that portion of the stud / nut fall off it will be good bye cylinder #6 and the engine.

    Freon Leak

With the A/C and truck off the system pressure could be 100 PSI + depending on air temp and charge level. You said you were not familiar with A/C systems. I recommend you take it to an auto A/C shop for your own safety.

    Grid Heater

I did have heater bolt phobia. A few years ago I disconnected the GH at the battery and never looked back. Phobia gone.

How Much DEF Are You Using In Miles?

Hard to tell. With what was the pandemic and now the price of diesel the truck is mostly a garage queen.

    Rfe 68 service

Did my first 68RFE trans fluid and filters at 40K, what a mess. Ordered the Dorman pan with a drain and got it the next day from Amazon. Did the second fluid / filters change today at 81K, what a breeze with a drain. 9 quarts of SuperTech ATF+4. Drained fluid looked great, almost hated to...

oil report - any opinions on fuel?

I generally run Shell Rotella T4 15w40 in my 2014 Ram 6.7 cummins. Got a good deal on T4 10w30, would there be any issues running the 10w30. Getting ready to change the oil next week, I don't want to cause any issues
