$385 for 2x Super Start Extreme+ from Oreilly's. Bought the Diehard Advanced Gold from Sears in 2014 and they were toast after 3 years and 3 months. The diehards replaced the OEM which lasted just under 4 years.
I removed both batteries out of my truck about a month ago to get new batteries and avoid a core charge. No problems with the radio. It is recommended, which I forgot to do, to removed the radio fuse. Don't remember the reason why. Either way, I didn't remove the fuse before removing both...
Sounds like the actuator in the turbo is on it's way out. Non-replaceable/repairable component.
You could save yourself money by replacing the turbo yourself.
Got the latest oil report back; good for continued use. Potassium is down, so I'm not entirely certain where that would be coming from. Still plan on changing the oil though.
It's $19.50 w/o shipping. About $26 w/shipping. I took a closer look at your analysis; the TBN of the oil is missing. TBN is the oil's ability to neutralize acid. As the TBN of an oil begins to diminish, the ability to protect against corrosive reactions is diminished as well. The higher the TBN...
2010 2500 90K Lube Time Reports 7-12
Here are my results. Truck has an AMSOIL Full Flow Filter and Bypass Filter and runs AMSOIL Heavy Duty Diesel & Marine 15W-40. The lab I use is Oil Analyzers, Inc. I have the latest oil sample on it's way to the lab. Sent off Thurs., 27 July. Page 2 was...
Thank you for the files! I checked both connectors, although, I couldn't find where C210 was, then I recalled I had a PDF hidden somewhere that shows the locations of the connectors. According to that diagram, C210, I believe as viewed from the front of the vehicle, is actually in the cab, just...
So a wiring or connector issue. I can dig into that. A whole lot cheaper than an ECM!
sag2, what do you mean by intermediate? Where the harness may split off?
Thanks for the reply guys!
If these new trucks are no longer prone to fuel washing past the cylinders and into the oil, I highly recommend changing to AMSOIL Signature series. For $450 you can extend your drain interval and take oil samples for a couple years. I deleted my 2010 and haven't changed the oil (less top offs...
Good afternoon!
Are there any Techs out there that are familiar with the subject?. I've been dealing with the subject referenced codes for about 5 years now. All this time, I was pretty certain it was the TIPM, more than likely because of all the reports out there about problems some folks have...
The Autoenginuity Scan tool may be able to turn it off through the TIPM if the new trucks are anything like the 2010-2012. I haven't looked on AE's website to see what's available for the new trucks though.
I recently updated my AE scan tool to cover up to 2016, so if anyone is in Vegas, I'd...
What's a grid heater? :-laf
Seriously though, my Black Maxx is on fuse M35, which is for heated seats. I've never had a problem such as what you described.
If the MM is changing sources, could there be an update for it that addresses that? I know the software is hard to find, but if it isn't...
What year of truck are you talking about? If I recall, the 2013 or 2014+ is more tightly integrated into the truck's electronics. So this is only applicable to 2010-2012 trucks, which uses a separate Auxiliary Power Distribution Center. I added the factory auxiliary switch bank to my truck...
