Does this happen when it's cold or all the time? My 04 2500 4x4 SRW auto has had a similar noise since new, when it's cold but never in the summer and after being driven a mile or so it disappears. I believe it's just one of those weird resonating things because everything else checks out OK...
Don't know if this will help you but the only problem I've ever had with these engines (and I'm on my fifth CTD) is that one time the no. 1 injector line developed a hairline crack where the line was bent 180 degrees. It was very difficult to spot but I finally found it and have heard from other...
If you go wireless you'll lose some quality in the sound. If you go direct connection it will sound better. Some head units have an extra set of jacks so you can plug directly in.
My advice is to go aftermarket all the way. I bought a Pioneer head unit, Memphis Audio door speakers and a Q-Logic subwoofer enclosure plus power amp that fits under the right rear seat. I can tweak the sound any way I want and it's awesome. Plus the Pioneer has extra jacks on the back so I can...
I bought the Q-Logic sub woofer enclosure. Fits in the rear passenger storage space on the right side only. It takes a 10 inch speaker and with a separate power amp it kicks ***. You don't need two speakers trust me on this one. I had to turn mine way down cause it was blowing me out of the cab.
My truck came with the standard cd-radio factory unit which is what I wanted because I had planned to upgrade to an aftermarket unit. I bought a Pioneer head unit with extra RCA jacks on the back, ran a cable from there to the center consol and I plug the iPod in there. It works perfectly with...
How about the relay interrupts sold by mobilistics.com? They plug right in and replace your current relays so it's not obvious what you've done to prevent starting. You can stop the fuel pump and the starter relay. Anyone have any experience with these? Group buy anyone? I'm ready to buy cause...
I have run many different pressures on these tires from 42 front 30 rear to 65 front 65 rear depending on load etc. Lower pressures = better ride but maybe a little less precise handling on curves. The manufacturers will tell you to check the tire wear with a gauge. If you are wearing out more...
What's the fairest way
to do this group buy? I'm a little concerned that the phone lines will be jammed up and people will only get through by luck. What about those of us that committed early on TDR to purchase the systems? Are we to get left out because we can't get through on the phone? I...
am referring to Caravan
Don't get me wrong, its a good shell for what it is. If they want to be the best though they need to go with new stainless hardware and flush door locks. I mentioned this to Dale a long time ago but I see no changes.
Good but
they haven't really improved their shells over the last decades. They still don't use stainless hinges and have a big door handle as opposed to the flush mounted ones like on the professional shells. Their big deal is how strong they are but it will not protect like a roll bar and they...
