thanks - I'll keep looking and asking until I find something - trying to stay out of a transmission shop as they always seem to have to do a complete rebuild to fix anything.

1999 stock truck with auto trans and 4:11 rear. trans. works fine except for shift from 2nd to 3rd - often requires release of accelerator for it to shift. Notice it seldom does it when pulling a load and most often does it when proceeding straight from startup - turn right or left and start up...
