Def usage
2011 4500 4wd C&C... ... with a dually bed mounted.
We just completed a trip with 5k lbs worth of Camper and crap... .
Bout 10-11 Mpg... ..... used 65% of a full 6 gallon tank of fluid.
Real numbers ... ... . no speculation.
Love the power and the Engine brake with Auto...
no finished product yet..... bodywork for filler door has to be done and Paint to match cab..... Very functional though... . just got back from 3000+ mile trip with camper. :)
Host Camper with Suburban Propane heater.
After initial fire up... heater starts to kick out heat and then shuts off... .
will come back on after I tap on the main unit with a blunt object... LOL

Shifter Interlock Issue
So this is not a recall or TSB (Tech service Bulletin) according to the dealer.
Weird problem and it is random at best. I have gotten into the habit of expecting it now. . Sad. I will put in for service after Holidays..... Guess I am a gluten for punishment. #@$%...
After starting my truck, seat belting and placing foot on the brake I am starting to run into an issue where the shifter does not want to come out of park. This happens randomly. I usually wind up fiddling with it until I hear the lil solenoid "Click" and then it comes out of "Park".

I have been neglect in staying current on this build. I have had many irons in the fire... . :)
The bed is mounted and I still have not had it painted to match.
I did wind up using 1. 5 square tubing sistered up and shear brackets made from 3/16...
So there I was... ... .
