Attention: TDR Forum Junkies To the point: Click this link and check out the Front Page News story(ies) where we are tracking the introduction of the 2025 Ram HD trucks.
I'm the second owner of this 2001 Dodge Ram 3500 dually. I had been looking at Ford trucks since my mother-in-law was working at a dealer, but every one I tried to test was sold before I could get there. The wife steered me to the Subaru/Dodge/Chrysler/Jeep dealer, and we found the Ram. It had 40,000 miles, and we got it together with her Subaru Outback.
I feel really lucky to have it. I'd never driven a Dodge/Cummins before, and thank my fate that I wound up with the best diesel.
Now, I'm trying to go through the quirks with the front end, and will hopefully get to some minor power bombing about the time the Cummins warrantee expires. Have worked on the steering wander, and it rides much better with the new springs and shocks, but I'll end up replacing most of the link components before I'm satisfied with it. Should be fun to drive if I can get it to handle like my old Chevy half-ton. :D
