    Typical Guage Reading on 6.7

Let us know how the flash works for you. Very high temps for such a long time, I would talk to them about a replacement turbo. Nothing else, inspected to see if there is any damage to the turbo.

    Pictures of DPF and DOC/CAT

The Cat/DOC is in front of the DPF. There are no sensors attached to the DOC itself. Just in front of the attaching flange upstream from the DOC there is a thermocouple and an O2 type sensor installed. Trucks are going high tech! Kenworth has a nice system on the new ones not sure about all...

    Pictures of DPF and DOC/CAT

That maybe something I will check on as well. I will have to drop the pipe from the turbo to get a gook look at it. May not be able to see the outlet end of the NOX, but I will try. I will post the pic's when I do. Looking under the truck I can see the heat shield that is around the pipe to...

    manual 6.7L exhaust brake

The e-brake with the manual transmition performs vary well. I tow a trailer that is about 10,000 loaded. Vary steep grades in second or third, just have to touch the brakes in the tightest of turns. Sure saves the brakes. There are some places here, I put the truck in four low and third or...

Here are some pic's of the DPF and DOC/CAT on my truck. Had to take a look on the inside! Do have to say that I am inpressed with the performance of the DPF. The outlet and tailpipe have almost zero soot. The truck is working great, no flashes, no issues since new June 1 this year. Towing...

    Port for Turbo Pressure Gauge

I installed the boost bolt in the forward most hole common to the manifold, closest to the valve cover. Easy to get to, only thing was the boost bolt I ordered was to short to engage in the manifold threads. I was able to get hex. stock from Diesel Manor and have one fabricated from that. I gave...

How long until someone rips all the DPF stuff off?

Nothing there in Ca. says that the diesels are to be smogged. They are exempt so far, EPA, DMV, Southern Cal. Air Quality Managment Board. Until 2010 when the zero NOX emissions take affect, that is still up for debate even than for diesels. Can not fiind anything that says otherwise.
