I've had 2 death wobble experiences, both happened going over an unusually large expansion joint while on a left curve on the highway at over 55 mph. Both times, I was running 70psi on the front axle. I've since dialed it back to 60psi and haven't had the issue since. But I'm also thinking it's...
Ugh, service manual note for a 2013:
TRANSMISSION FILL
To avoid overfilling transmission after a fluid change or overhaul, perform the following procedure:
Remove dipstick and insert clean funnel in transmission fill tube.
Add following initial quantity of Mopar® ASRC ATF to...
I've also found sometimes its a difference in load/service ratings or speed ratings for the same tire in the same size. but that's about all the reasons I can find.
I've found that when they have 2 tires of the same model at slightly different prices, it's usually due to outlined or solid white lettering on the side wall versus an all black side wall.
Sorry about that guys, let me clarify. I too follow the manual (6-months, 15,000 miles, whichever comes first). What I meant to say was a lack in the dealership doing the oil change. Receipts are perfectly fine. I actually update my owner's records on the mopar owner's website as well to have a...
Bummerton, makes sense. Yeah, they can't void your warranty because of you doing your oil change. It has to be shown that your "Lack" of oil changes caused an issue, basically they have to prove you caused it. However, it's very obvious when lack of oil changes cause an engine issue (lots of tar...
You seem to misunderstand something. It depends on what version of UConnect you have. Even though you didn't activate it, it still has a signal with Cell towers and provides an IP address to the internet. So your truck may connected to the web whether your like it or not (it really depends on...
ESC = Enhanced Stability Control. I had a different experience. I was in the snow and accelerating. Before my tires could spin-out, the engine was immediately pulling throttle and not allowing any wheel slide. I think the Speedometer setting is to read the highest value. However, the computer...
No, just about all new vehicles now a days use the wheels-speed/tone rings on each corner of the vehicle. They need to monitor speeds at all 4 positions in order to make a choice on what ESC or ABS routines are needed. That's why when you re-gear the truck, you don't really need to re-program...
With our trucks, running at OEM pressures, I notice the shoulders wear more on the front and the center wears more on the rear. I rotate every 7.5k on my truck. Take a tread depth and measure the tread across the face. If one set of tires has more center tread, it was probably run on the front...
I just pulled the old hose off and popped a longer new one on, along with a worm clamp so it doesn't pull off so easily. The original hose size is 5/8" OD and 1/2" ID.
You're right, I did not see that thread on 2015's having only one radiator. Looks like there was question on whether it was unilaterally dropped and why, or if there was a smaller radiator under the larger main radiator.
A little off topic, but yes you have 2 radiators on your 2015. They run in parallel. Follow your upper radiator hose and you should see a "Y" connection on there. Then you'll see you have a smaller radiator in front of the power steering and trans cooler radiators (but behind the AC condensor)...
