mine does this occasionally when I forget to let the grid heaters cycle(not letting the wait to start light to go off). Other than that no smoke unless I get down on it too hard.

mine uses a quart about every 10,000 mi. has since new no matter whwat kind of oil. I now run Amsoil every thing with the dual remote set up, I think most of the oil goes out the road draft tube. Maybe someone can come up with a low cost solution to retreive and recycle this oil...
Same question I had. . My truck shifts normally now, it just sat for a couple of hours then started working again

Amsoil everything, @ 40,000 since trans fluid change(not much heavy pulling in this time as I don't need to pull my fifth-wheel as much these days. )
:confused: The other day I had to jump across traffic with a little to much loud pedal. The back tires broke loose as I crossed traffic and then the truck would not shift properly, no first or o. d. . After the truck sat for a few hours it shifted fine. Should I be worried about internal damage...
