Don't hate... .
I'll flip that coin. People who actually use K&N filters don't have a lot of issues with them. Oil sampling doesn't show any additional contamination of the oil over factory paper filters. Also, you can read about K&N's third party lab tests of "contaminated" mass airflow...
Yes, it's one componant that needs to be swapped over. At leas in the VW/Audi world, many parts that can be bolted on, require just a quick setting change in the ECU with a diagnostic computer. Including HID lighting. Just put in the hardware; light assemblies, balasts, leveling link on the...
I'm just throwing this out there, but I have seen a shift away from typical 12v on/off wiring in newer cars. I know for a fact that just trying to get an aftermarket keyless entry into my pickup required taking it to a local sound/security shop. The door locks were not even 12v and required...
I'd really like to know if they would fit into a 2010 front end. I absolutely love xenon HID lighting. Had it in a BMW and it was like driving with the sun strapped to the front bumper. (Yes that was a little sarcastic, but you get the idea. )
As for the leveling, all cars with projector HID...
I swear that it's the damn manufacturers driving the death of the manual transmission.
'Nobody's buying manuals anymore' they say... . Well sell a vehicle with options and a manual trans available. Make sure the manual is of decent build and they'll have no issues selling them.
I don't care...
It's not the Rams, it's all newer cars. Every manufacturer is having them go out "early". Most little cars now drive them with the timing belt so that it becomes a maintenance item to change with the belt, or if it goes around 80k the new timing belt is just part of the job. Not sure what the...
Just a tidbit...
those weigts are for harmonics. VW had used them in the past, as early as 1989 I think, but have now gone to just better engineering of frames and mounting the engine. My old Corrado had one that weighed about 12lbs hanging from the front of the rear cross-member in front of...
Took a load of sand home from the gravel pit for the kid's new sandbox. I asked for a yard, but ended up with a little more. We had 3240lbs in the bed of our "3/4 ton. " I looked up the specs for this pickup and it's only rated for 2400 lbs or so. Took it like a champ, power wasn't affected at...
Our 2010 doesn't wander, so you most likeley have something wrong. Have you just tried puttin the front end up and trying to move the tires. Could ID a bad part. Or, could the tires you have just have more than usual squish allowing some wander?
It's called the Amarok. It's not federalized so you'd have to find some way of getting it registered. Maybe if you have family in Mexico you could just "borrow" it all the time.
Until you get it isolated... try letting the truck idle for a minute or two before putting it in gear. Also, back into the garage to see if you can induce the issue in drive as well.
