Thank you cerberusiam! I agree that is sounds like the injectors aren't up to par and i haven't been real happy about it but given they were a bosch certified shop and a local case dealer uses them with very good results swayed me to use them as opposed to going with a random rebuild off of...
i understand that, hence getting them from a bosch certified shop. But i dont understand what that has to do with
a) fuel from the return port of the lift pump due to the crossover check valves
b) design return pressure from the return galley
I have an 07 5.9. Truck was smoking a bit at start up, had the injectors rebuilt, installed them, and instantly had tons of fuel in the crankcase (1.5-2 gal in 80 miles). Did an injector flow return test, got 20ml/30 sec @ idle and 60 ml/30 sec at 18ksi (my scanner didnt have the flow pressure...
