I had a 2006 and I had the same problem you described to the T. The noise never went away and got worse as time went on. I had put three different sets of injectors in it with no change. I finally got so fed up with it I got an 07 5. 9l. I hope you find your problem they drive me crazy too.
hey buddy im new to the 12valves too but im pretty sure you could do it yourself with a few simple tools and it probably wouldnt take long at all. Maybe someone more experianced will chime in.
Yes I would assume that too but as the RPMs go up so does the noise of the engine itself. The normal engine and exhaust noise are cancelling out the pooping sound. I have had injectors go out twice on my 06 and neither time did i hear anything funny in the exhaust and I did listen to it.
I am in the process of buying a '93 W250. I want to know where you guys find your parts at. Vendors that are online and sell anything from stock replacement parts to aftermarket go-fast parts. I appreciate the help and look forward to getting to know the truck and forum better.
