Sorry to take so loooong to reply, I'm not here too often. I see you are one of the "Rain Lovers", way to go... . The NAPA I got my battery is the one on Highway 303, near Safeway. The CCA are 25 lower than the Delco I replaced, but it works okay... Lee
I changed my battery about two years ago. I found one that had 1000CA vs recommended 1025. Picked it up at NAPA Have had good luck here in Western Wa. ... Lee

I have used the Pacbrake for about 3-4 years. I have done nothing to the trans. I am very careful how I use it. First I turn off the OD, if on. Then if need be, slow with the service brakes to aroung 50. At this point I pull the shift lever into 2nd. It slows down very well. Of course you...

You want to take into account the distance from the 5er pin and the front of the 5er. Some are of different lengths. I pulled a 5er with a short box and long. Prefer the long. Now pull TT, but that's another story... Lee

You might want to check the sway control, if you have one. I found on mine that the creaking occurs when turning. I took off the control for just a little while... No creak!... Lee
