Nah, I found this beast with 11 miles on it. It had been on the lot for over 400 days. The msrp was 49,843.00. I offered 39k I thought they would never go for it, they did. Had a serious vibration issue the kids down at CJC in California fixed after dropping over 5k on goodies. The Carson city...
Yup, that’s what I’m thinking. There’s at least 6 female pins. I’m sure it’s a plow harness. The build sheet for the truck makes no mention of snow plow prep tho. The truck clearly has the plow mounting channels under there. This is good as I’m thinking of getting one, plow.....
it’s a beast...
I’m too much of an infant to post digital images. But I did trace the wiring loom and again it’s NOT the block heater. The wiring loom is significantly large and terminates into the PCM area with another huge wiring loom.

Nope.....
that’s on the passenger side. This plug is female and is actually attached to the inside left side of the air dam. It resembles a plug for a scanning tool.....
2018 2500 reg cab 4x4......
I noticed a elec plug located just behind the front air dam on the drivers side.
Anyone know what this is? Snow plow???
Thanks in advance....

I’ve seen where where ford has installed vibration dampeners on all four corners of their super duty’s to deal with this.
I’ll tell you what, this is my third dodge 99,2005, and now a 2018. What you go through to get the motor has me wondering if it’s even worth it, the rest of the truck is...
I finally got this thing to simmer down without any help from FCA. My dealers resolution? " its fine" FCA's resolution? start this scavenger hunt and sending me to a litany of dealers, pity too because Carson City Dodge back in the day was where one went when others when all else failed. Not...
WELL
Took my new truck with 1800 miles on it in to see what the deal with the visibly wobbling stock chrome clad rear wheels to Carson City Dodge in Nevada....
Result???
I get the familiar warranty call " Couldn't find anything wrong changed the rear end oil"!!!!! your good to go....... LOL...
Hey bob.....
Yeah Harold and I are mixing it up again with these things. I heard your retired now?
And yes I’m sure I’ll be down there messing around at CJC with this thing. Never thought I’d be in another diesel.
Mac
Thanks all...
Yeah, the regular cab works for me. I’m in Nevada these days with just myself and my woman. Don’t not really interested in towing anything anymore. My thoughts on the ram was travel, nice hotels. I installed a back flip cover making the long bed a huge trunk. The thing hits hard...
It’s the self adjusting hydraulic valves, they’ll be fine eventually, just not interested in being a trial. Vibration problems are one thing but motor issues are another. All CTD’s when changed had something to deal with. Lift pumps, egr systems,
Look at the issues over at Nissan with the 5...
