    Thanks,the fan is off I had tried both directions would have tried an another if there was one. Heat made it happen. Direction of rotation is good information. I was told that up to 03 is LH and 03 and later is RH. I`m pressing in a new bearing BCA#51004 from carquest for $75. macdogs

    Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) fan removal to replace hub bearing

    I have a 2001 2500 2wd 6speed with a bad fan hub bearing. Any good tricks? I made a tool to hold the hub and I am turning the nut anticlockwise.
