When I purchased my truck in 2007 it had 27,000 miles on it and it tracked dead straight down the road. With the passage of time it began to pull right, and as with a lot of things, you get acclimatized, but eventually you reach the point where you say "this is dangerous". This past spring I had...
Does anyone else have errors in temperature showing on the overhead intermittently. Sometimes when I start up, it seems just to 'pick a temp', and may stay there all day or correct itself. Any ideas. Sensor? Computer?
Thanks
60,000 miles and time to replace the front end components. I know therrer have been many discussions on this subject, but what is the very best option, factory upgrade or aftermarket? 2006 3500 dually.
Try eBay. I bought one for my 06. It involves taking out the whole grille, cutting out the crosshairs and insrting the new one. It is a billet grille, horizontal bars. Sure cleans up the front end and gets a lot of positive comments. I'll try to find a pic.
Jim, after reading your post again, I now see you are speaking of electrical connections. If you are heading to Edmonton, send me a PM. I live very close to the scale north of Calgary on Hwy. 2.
Guage is only there temporarily to adjust the pressure switch. Just happened to have it handy. I set the pressure to approx 110 PSI, but will play with it some more to find optimum pressure. The lines and wiring hanging down is before I tidied up the job. Jim,thanks for the tips. Did you mean...
I have the condenser screen and the tool tray from Genos installed in my truck. Quite a simple process to install a disposable bug screen with this setup. I used a manuscript spine from a stationery store to serve as a clamp for holding the screen in place. I carry some extra screen, and when...
We. . , after about two years of procrastinating, I finally got around to installing my air horns. The biggest reason I can quote, is that I was trying to find the easy way to install all the components with a minimum of work and tearing hide off of my hands. . I have aftermarket running boards...
Quite some time ago, someone posted about mounting a CB antenna on the cowl, directly in front of the windshield on the left side. As I recall, a hole was drilled in the plastic trim pice which contains the fresh air inlet. I have searched, but can't find it. Does anyone recall this post?
Mine is not showing in the diagrams. The truck is an automatic, with the center console running right from the dqshboard back to roughly even with the backs of the fron seats. The part of it between the seats has an upper hinged lid to open an approx 3" deep compartment. Below that is another...
My center console has a small tip out storage bin facing the back seats. The spring to hole it closed is either out of position or broken. How do I get the back panel of the console off?
My '06 has the console with a power point inside the top lid as well as in the back seat area. The one inside the lid works fine, but some time ago I plugged an inverter into the back one and zapped it. The manual only shows one fuse, which tests OK. Someone out there have any ideas?
