    BD X Monitor

I've had mine for about a month now. Am very pleased. The display can wash out in direct sunlight but can still be read. While I was at the dealer the last time, I has them hook up their reader and found that the x-monitor was reading the transmission temp 9 degrees low. No big deal. The pyro is...

    04.5 mileage ridiculous

I think that I will keep mine. 1874 miles and 109. 53 gallons for a 17. 11 average. This is about 1. 5 mpg less than my 96 average over 97k miles. My 03 did 9755 miles on 490. 72 gallons for a 19. 87 average. The 03 was a 2500 and did not tow like I was used to with the dually so I got the 04. 5...

Transmission Temp Sending Unit - Where to Place

swexlin the 04. 5 has a temp sensor already in the transmission. All that has to be done is tap this wire to send a signal to the x-monitor. Mine was tapped just before it enters the ECM or whatever that computer on the side of the engine is. Cheers Gordon

Transmission Temp Sending Unit - Where to Place

If you get the X-Monitor gages you can use the existing transmission temp wiring. There may be some other gage sets that use the same wire but I do not know about them. Cheers Gordon
