    yes, thank you, good question. symptoms started before any work done. Thank you again, also I replace the water pump as routine maintenance around 200K with all the Ram's Ive had. one more thing... I do smell coolant sometimes, but no visable leaks, or coolant loss

    2018 3500 drw, bought new, 210 K miles. towing a 6 horse trailer, empty or lightly loaded most of the time around the western US. rarely more than 10-11K trailer weight. Coolant goes to 230-235 pretty quickly will get to 240 if not downshifted and keeping up to 22-2500 RPM's, this is with the...

    Thank you in advance. I have noticed a slight chatter or clunking at acceleration from a stop when towing. Its very slight, but there. It "feels" like its coming from the diff, but hard to be sure.. I have had the same symptom with an old ford and it was a positrack additive issue in the diff...
