The weight may make a difference. The rear end ratio makes ZERO difference in licensing. Bet they did not have a 4.10, and wanted to sell you one with a different one!?
Transfer flow, I believe. However, the comment was on replacing the main tank, because they were replacing the main tank due to DEF being put in it. There are NO larger replacements for the main tank, that I am aware of.
I have checked with several. So far, nobody makes one, because the def tank is on the end of the main tank, taking up the room they need to get more than a couple gallons extra. That is what I was told by Transferflow on the phone.
Push the EB button on the dash. One push, full brake, second push, takes it to auto brake. Third time takes it off.
If you have in tow mode, it is more aggressive. If you are braking and in tow mode, even more so, plus stays on to a lower mph.
I have Aisin. On the farm, I bump it into neutral quite often, when trying to go slow, so do not have to ride the brake. So far, no problems at all. 20,000 miles.
Most are being delivered in much shorter time frame, so they do not know when they send it exact delivery dates. I know of no other way they could send it than rail and truck. I think airmail would be out. FedEx Express would be pretty expensive.
I feel for you. We ordered a '13, with brown...
Feel for you. What a wait!
But, how is the delivery delay RAM;s fault? Blame the railroads/trucking companies. If you mailed a letter, and the Post Office delivered it 6 weeks later, is it YOUR fault?
I have fueled my RAM at truck stops that I have put 250 gallons into my Peterbilt in the time it takes to wash the windshield! Two nozzles for the Pete, but they are really high flow, and I have never NOT had them work. I do have to use the slowest "click" setting on the nozzle.
We have the lighter brown, which I believe is the Cattle tan, WITH etching. If you look in the RAM catalog, you will see seat options. We ordered our RAM 3500 DRW. You can order with, or without, the stitching.
The leather in the Longhorn makes the Laramie "leather" seem like Grandma's clear...
I really do NOT think it has anything to do with adding fluid. I have added MANY times, no problem. Have you checked again after sitting over night? I have had messages that clear themselves, and go away, after shutting down the truck. I have a '14 DRW.
Not correct, unless they have a new one that is NOT on their web site. All end in year 2012, except for the spare tire fuel tank. Nobody that I know of makes one for the DEF equipped trucks.
And your spare tire goes........where? As above poster, not willing to give up bed space, would not a tire laying in the bed take up the same space? The tank is great, if there was a place to put the spare!
