I have never tried to take a firearm into Canada. My brother did once and got locked up. They let him go after he posted bail but he never went back for trial. This was about 25 years ago. I'm betting they're not any easier to get along with now. I think there is a way to take a long gun but I...
I meant to mention in my earlier post about the Al Can trip, that folks should consider another trip if they have the time and inclination.
Try going to Newfoundland in Eastern Canada. The locals pronounce it "Nefinland" do it the other way and you will get looks. You cross New Brunswick, Nova...
I've driven To Fairbanks and back to the Midwest twice lately and the trip is a piece of cake these days. Depending on the time of year there are plenty of services. If you go from late September to end of April there are limited services in some areas. Either carry extra fuel or have plenty of...
Someone sent me that picture of a class c motor home made into a 5th wheel years ago. I was in west TX last week and saw either it or one just like it sitting in a field off I-10.
I don't know if this one is a setup or someone really tried this
If your auxiliary tank is in the bed and you leave the valve open, you need the check ball to keep fuel from running out the filler neck. There are openings in the neck between the top flapper and the lower ball seal.
I think the magnet came from the fuel pump nozzle. I don't know if it was some part of the nozzle but I doubt it. I was at a large truck stop and who knows what the nozzle could have come in contact with when it's used by hundreds of people a week. I do remember it was difficult to get truck to...
Your getting 100,000 + miles out of these tires?
I have a 2017 3500 DRW I have had for just over 4 months and have 45,000 miles on the truck and the OE Nexens. They are just about done. I have gotten 100 + on big truck steer tires but not on a pickup. I would say about 98% of my miles are...

The weight of the fuel in the tank doesn't affect the flapper. For example If you have a thousand gallons of fuel, water, any liquid, weighing say 7,000 lbs. up on a stand and you had a 1/2" hose or any other small size connected to the bottom you could hold that pressure back with a finger over...
Those flappers do a great job of sealing the tank. I have a 109 gallon auxiliary tank in the bed of my '17 3500 dually. A while back when I was filling both my stock and auxillary tanks I finished and went inside. When I came out fuel was running out from under the truck below the filler on...
