The 4th gear Synchro on my NV4500 is going bad. Thinking of switching to the 6 speed transmission. Will it use the same bell housing as the NV4500? Do I have to shorten drive shafts if I switch?
Need to replace my lift pump.
1. )Is there a better aftermarket pump or should I stay with the Carter??
2. )Has anyone thought of putting a second inline lift pump?
Testing is sooo important. I make my own and NEVER had any problems with it. I have friends that have been runnning their dodge on B100 for 4-5 years now and have had NO problems whatsoever. My old Chevy did not like it, but the old chevy's had crappy FI pumps. Cummins uses better quality seals...
I heard there is a computer you can install in your truck that will increase your mileage up to 30+ mpg, but with a flip of switch you can tow away again. Any ideas or truth to what I am hearing????
