    Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) engine swap no tach?

    swapped a 2001 into a 1999 body and now I am having issues with no tach and runs ruff. do I need to change cmp pin on ecu or something? stealership is saying need to change cam gear for lots of moneys removing cam is not my favorite idea of fun weekend has any one else had this problem

    Thanks for the help, guys. I did verify throttle cable etc. first, it was OK. I turned the fuel screw out one turn and that took care of the problem. Thanks again.

    Happy New Year, Everyone. Looking at a '91 D350 for a friend. It doesn't want to trottle back after warmed up. He just bought it and says the previous owner had his employee turn up the fuel, but admitted they didn't know what they were doing. After cold start, it will throttle back to idle, but...
