    BINGO it was a bad relay. I thought about checking that before but i fiqured the relay was open or closed. Thanks for the help

    I did this with a test light there is no voltage when the key is turned on and only voltage for three seconds when the starter is bumped.

    I installed the airtex lift pupmp om my 98. 5. When I turn on the key it does nothing and when I bump the starter in only runs for about three seconds. Is this normal my stock lp ran for about 12 seconds. i have not yet checked it with a gauge.

    Truck ust died like I ran out of diesel. It will start and idle but as soon as you push the pedal it starts sputering. Any ideas,truck a 98. 5
