Ok, Talked to a "kinda" local (30mi) diesel shop about a flow test on my CR and he knew all about it. I dropped it off last nite and was called this morning with the news of #2 injector was bad. I am having them all replaced at this point. I have 148k on it and think it is best. Its gonna get...
Cool Todd, thanks. I just wanted that cleared up. I drove it yesterday and Tuesday but i did not plug it in last night, only 50deg and this morning no start. I guess Sat I will check mor things. Can the rail pressure and return pressure be checked via scanner? I really want to know how to...
I am having long crank times on my truck and the only code i have is 0633.
I was told that is why it wont start. Is this true? I know i may have other problems with the fuel system, but need to clear this up before I go on the chase for the no start problem. Any info on this causing a long...
No ****! Really? So you think that time is now? A problem I know it is, but the Key and my long crank times related? I will look into this I guess. $60-$70 a key Im sure, then Programming? Its a racket I say.
Alright, it started at noon and i made it home from work fine. Now it will be chilly tonight so I am plugging it in. Am iI hurting it by driving it with the hard start prob. I desperately need it for work, so if it starts tomorrow, i will be driving it. At 148K it does not look to ever have been...
Saw a 74 Adventurer 350 at Carlisle Pa this past summer for $2000. OR $2500that had a 440, trailer pkg, used to tow a 5er and was real clean inside and out. They are nice lookin trucks huh.
I dont get the SKIM KEY being the problem for Hard starting. I started the truck this morning on (1) long cycle crank and it fired up. I drove to work, ran fine (like it always has) I will be going out at Noon to crank it again. I would think if you had a Non-Programmed Key, It Would Not Start...
Ok, replaced the FCA and and a new fuel filter while i was under there tonight and it did start, but not till after a long crank time. Cycled the key twice till it started. Did run fine though. I Must look elsewhere. Crossover tubes?
