Are those pins you mentioned metal or plastic? I'm guessing if they're metal perhaps they've rusted in place, or something....

Thanks. I did try that but was afraid to pull too hard. Looks like I'll have to really strong-arm it. Hope it doesn't break. Is it normal for it to be this difficult to pull out without breaking?

Hello, all. I want to replace a backup lamp and am having trouble accessing it. I remove the 2 torx-headed screws and can open the assembly about an inch or so and can't go any further without using strong arm tactics. I don't know what trick there is to remove the assembly so I can get at the...
