powder, on the newer trucks if the high idle feature is enabled you can change the idle speed with the accel/decel buttons. In park without touching the brake you turn on cruise, hit the set button, at that point high idle will jump to around 100 rpm, then just hit accel or decel to change the...
It may sound silly but a couple of 20' long strips (about a foot wider than your tires) of astro turf ,or similar, laid upside down can save you a tow more often than you'd think. Lots easier than carrying plywood or such too.

My 09 was born on 10/2008 and the insight does work, I've talked to them a couple times on the phone and they asked what year it was but never once asked manuf date. Strange.
