Thuren coils are 2". BEST CHOICE period, ship to your door, awesome ride improvement over my stock coils and Ready Lift spacers. Add a decent shock and you'll love it.
Installed my BD box in the truck yesterday, so far I am extremely impressed with it. Throttle response is SIGNIFICANTLY better. I set it to the 100% setting (50% seemed like a waste of time...) The first road test was awesome, we'll see if the dead pedal returns.. Time will tell, but even if it...
I have a triple set of train tracks that I have to cross at a 45' angle just when I leave work. They used to send the truck sideways at 20mph, I hit them at 30 and it was amazing. Once I get the "kick" out of the rear, it'll be a beautiful thing. Aaron was amazing to deal with too, answered all...
Installed a set of Thuren Fabrication front coils and their Overland shocks in my 3500 and the ride quality improvement was excellent. The Fox shocks were on back order, so I thought for the price I'd give their base shock a try and am not disappointed. Waiting for Carli to release their...
Received and installed my wheel balancer rings from Balance Masters. WORTH EVERY PENNY !!!!! I haven't had time to remove the driveshaft and install the rings on it, but the change in the truck is phenomenal, I highly recommend them, couldn't be happier :D
I ordered a set of wheel balancers and 2 driveshaft balancers (2-piece shaft) from Balance Masters on Friday. Looking forward to getting them on and seeing how much they improve the truck. If I can get rid of the vibrations, I'll be a happy guy
I've experienced the problem enough times, and a few times in dangerous situations, that I'm willing to give it a try. Called my local diesel performance shop, going there to pick one up tomorrow. I'll post my findings......hope its worth it
If there is too much fuel injected at any time including during decel, it will contribute to soot build up as soot is basically unburned fuel. If the reflash was to reduce fuel, it could very well be the correct fix. As with any code that is non-current at the time of diagnosis, you have to...
Beamers website is lousy, but I was able to get a Custom Truck Parts catalog from work and they have a kit for the 9012 bulb. From what I can tell, the 9012 is the same as the 9006 except it has a 90' connector. Things are about to get brighter :)
I've used Beamers kits for the last few trucks I've owned and never had an issue with bulbs or ballasts. You just have to drive with your lights on all the time, they don't like the lower voltages used for daytime running lights.
My 2014 is a big step forward from my 2004, except I see that Dodge still hasn't resolved the crappy low beam head lamp performance. I've got HID's for the high beams and the fog lamps, and plan to install a 20" LED in the bumper opening, but the projector low beam in my opinion in pretty weak...
GM doesn't have a gauge, and the level sensor only reads the last 4 litres (1 gallon) of fluid. They hold 21 litres (approx. 5.5 gallons) of fluid as well. The reason is when the warning comes on, you can add 2 10 litres jugs and not spill any.
I've had my 2014 for about 6 weeks now and overall I'm extremely happy with it. I bought in with just under 12000km on it, and now have almost 21000km. It has a few issues which by going through the forums look like they can be fixed with a programming update here and there. The one issue I...
