What a lousy system.
Plastic Drain Cock finally popped out when I pried it gently with a screwdriver... don't think I damaged anything. O-Ring was busted. NAPA shows a 605-1372 that looks like a match. Dorman shows a 61134 that also looks like a match. Try to run one down in the AM... or to...
Went to do the 5 year year coolant flush change; opened drain valve and drained (very slowly) 1st time; filled with demineralized water for flush... now drain plug drips/leaks when closed. Search showed several threads... says drain plug can be removed and O-rings/gasket can be checked/replaced...
Thanks.
Here are the Part Numbers that the Timken Catalog shows for the Spindle Bearing and Seal:
Seal (Inner): 710044
Bearing: B2414
Seal (Outer) 710045
This is for a 1977-1989 Chevy/GMC K30 with a Dana 60F Front Axle.
I am sure that DynaTrac would; but it would be a lot more convenient to source the parts at the local NAPA/Parts Plus/O'Reillys.
Does the GMC K-30 (Dana 60) have the 1. 5"/35 Spline Axle Stub Shaft like the DynaTrac?
About time to repack my front wheel bearings for the first time after installing the free spin kit.
Does anyone have the the part numbers for the Hub Seals from a common manufacturer such as: SKF, Chicago Rawhide, Federal Mogul, Timken etc? Also the part numbers for the Spindle Seals; and...
I have one set OEM Steel wheels with Winter tires; one set OEM Aluminum Wheels with Summer tires; and the Dynatrac studs were too long for both; although it was close with the Aluminum wheels; but the little sheet metal clips in the hub cap still would not quite seat over the back of the lug...
Ir you don't have access to the hole saw/drill press; you can also use a Zip Roto Tool with an 1/8 cutting bit. I marked it on the outside of the hub cap with a black Sharpie, using a round template (plastic margerine container) then cut the hole a bit underize. Then trued it up and smoothed the...
Would someone pls measure the throat distance on their Astro C-frame press?
I'd like to get one; but only if it is large enough to do the Front Axle U-Joints. The OTC 7249 and my Chinese copy will not do them...
Thanks
For those of you that have the Astro C Frame Press; what is the throat (opening) size? The Chinese made Harbor Freight (and the OTC it copies) it is about 6". That is not large enough to do the front axle U-joints on the AAM 9. 25 axle.
I'm on my third Harbor Freight Ball Joint Press; sprung...
Mine surges on cruise control; going downhill only. It must be a common issue as there are other threads here on the same subject. Truck runs great otherwise and no trouble codes, so I've just learned to live with it...
Think on the 3 Gen, 2005 and older all trailer circuits were fused; 2006 and newer had TIPM CB for the turn signals only.
When I looked into it; the TIPM reflash from 15 to 20 AMPs on the Turn Signal CB only applied to the 2006 year. I think my 2007 came with the CB set to 20 AMPS.
I...
I put the Bodiak (https://bodiaknet.powweb.com/store/catalog/) on mine.
Bolts right on to the factory tow hooks; very stout, and looks good. Ran about $200. 00 when I got it a year ago
I get the same symptoms on occasion.
Do you have the Recall or TSB Number and Part Numbers of the new/improved Switch?
Is it available from the aftermarket parts houses or Dodge/Chrysler only?
Thanks
