    Sliding gooseneck hitch

    I'm starting to think that this is going to be more of a problem than I first realized. I don't have the trailer yet, so I can order it either way- gooseneck or fifthwheel. I guess I will have to go with a fifthwheel with an extended kingpin box, or a gooseneck with about half of the overhead...

    Going to use 2500 short bed to pull enclosed gooseneck- Have heard about the "sliding" hitch that lets you move hitch ball back for sharp turning. Anyone use one of these? Any recommended brand? Is it more trouble than it's worth? Also looking at getting trailer with less "overhang" for...
