I have an 04 and had an 01 w/5600 and both rattle. I was told by a Dodge service tech it was the clutch rattling. Also heard a few Fords doin too. I put 120000 on the 01 and 107000 on the 04 so far and havent had any problems.
My dads 99 gets an average of 20mpg on a 40 mile round trip to work and back at 55-60 mph. He has seen as much as 22-23 on interstate trips. It has the auto with 3. 55's and 2 wheel drive.
Freind of mine has a 3500 w/ Hemi and the abs sensor on the rearend has a loose connection. When the lights come on all he has to do is crawl under the truck and wiggle the wires. This usually happens when he has a heavy load on it.
