Is there anything to be gained by using Stanadyne in the 6. 7? I used it religiously in my 01, but have never put any in the my 09.

I was always told it was the soot. My 01 would be jet black within a couple hundred miles, never used one drop, and never had a problem with the engine the entire time I owned it. I think its normal. I wouldn't worry about it.
