    Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Clutch Slip?

While towing my 5th wheel (10,000 lbs) on a flat section of highway, it appears that my clutch is slipping. I'll be going along at 65 mph, 1900 rpm, and 65 mph. The next thing I see is the rpm rapidly increase to about 2400 rpm and the truck slows down. I'll push the clutch pedal in and then...

    Generator Installation Question

John, The box I made was in accordance with the Generac installation instructions. If you go to www.generac.com you can look at the instruction manuals for RV generators. You'll have to scan through the manual to the installation section. This section shows how the box is constructed and the...

    Generator Installation Question

I installed a Generac Quietpac 4000 in my 5er. I built a compartment in my front storage with seals and insulation as per the Generac instalation instructions. I drilled a hole through the wall that connects to my basement and ran a 30 Amp power cord that I plug into my trailer power cord...

    Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Wont not get over 60!!

I pull my 5th wheel at 65 to 70 mph all day. I'm in 6th gear and only slow to 60 mph at 1800 rpm up hills. My trailer weighs about 9500 lbs loaded. This configuration works fine for me ;) .

    manual or auto

I had a 1998. 5 with the auto. At 32k miles the torque converter went out. I was only pulling a 6k boat. I traded it on a 2001 with a 6 speed :D . I'm sure I could have bombed the transmission to make it work for me but any excuse to get a new truck is good to me :D :D :D . Now I use it to...

CB Radio Mount - Any Good Ideas

Thanks to Ken Renard and his bracket mounting diagram on Fritz's website http://dodgeram.org/ki4cy/ramradio/kenr_mt.htm I found a CB mount that really works great :D . It fits my scanner and CB with no problem :) .

    CB/Weather or CB/SSB

I don't have SSB, however, I do get weather info from my scanner. The weather info only works good near bigger towns or coastal towns. It does come in handy. :p

Just checked my GVWR label. It says 10,500 lbs. I wonder why the 4X4's would be limited to 8,800 lbs. :(

16" Aluminum Wheels on Sunnybrook Kev, I ordered my new Sunnybrook with the 16" wheels plus the aluminum option. The dealer gave me a spec sheet which he said was his cost per item from Sunnybrook  . The aluminum wheel option is $350. The 16" wheel option is $175. The sheet...

    Ordered the new Fiver!!!!!!!

I can't imagine fitting bunks in on the 31BWFS. My wife and I saw that option and thought it was an error  . Anyway, it's just the two of us, plus dogs, so we really liked the layout. -Tim
