You can spend alot of money trying to save a little on fuel but after 50 years on this planet I found out by far the best addition is a lighter foot.
love every thing about my 05 but my g56 had a slight leak at 24k which dealer fixed,now a slight roughness when shifting. a little cold here in boise lately. OH ssorry leak was in the shift tower.
being a new diesel owner and a firm believer in syn. lubs. my question is in colder weather,shorter trips and not towing are lighter weight oils O. K. ?i. e. 10-30. also read a very good article about oils on lincolnsonline,but I do'nt believ e he covered this...
my 05 dodge cummins 6m 25k miles idles at 800rpm after 3-4 minutes cold or hot will increase idle to 1000rpm i tap the throttle it goes down but comes up again in a few minutes. whats the deal. :confused:
