Know this is late returning but life as seemingly conspired against me lately when it comes to getting online. 87 year old Mom who depends on me to care for her home, etc...sure a story many of you have too.
I should have provided more information.
I bought the truck with 38k on it from a...
I think those couple with the brite box setup to run them with the highs as well as lows would really go a long way to solving the problem while we wait for good legit LED headlight assemblies. Please let us know when you have run them and have some input on their efficiency.
Thanks for the link!
Well now I am glad I posted this, looks like it was of value to others as well.
I have an extra gallon of the 50wt. Mobil 1 trans fluid I bought when I serviced the G56, I will pick up a quart of the Pennzoil Synchro this week, mix up a couple of quarts, and change it out soon. Thanks for the...
The factory fold out towing mirrors on my 07 are such an improvement on the mirrors that were on my previous truck that I never thought the day would come that I would even for a second, think of changing them.
That changed with this thread, LOL.
If I ever lose one of my existing mirrors or...
OP....
All we do is boondock; have for years. The truck will provide some charge during an idle but it is inefficient as heck...
Depending on where you set the thermostat and how cold it gets you might last a night with the factory supplied battery.
Couple of options...
Buy a pair of Trojan...
This is the reason I brought this question up, considering the older trucks I have owned never ran ATF. I have some Mobil1 5wt, but don't know where to get synchromesh to mix 50 50...any suggestions on a brand for it in a local parts store?
So it is time to service my transfer case, I have the truck on Redline engine oil and the mobil 1 trans oil (G56) and thinking that the Redline Mopar Spec ATF is the way to go.
I searched a bunch and my efforts failed for threads on this topic.
Any input one way or another on this?

Been doing the RV thing for over 30 years, I think we have had 6 or 7 of them, from Cab over campers to trailers to a Class A and now a 5er. We spend our recreation time in the deserts and mountains OHV exploring.
My experience has led me to conclude that their are two distinct types of RVs...
The only thing that jumps out at me about running the ribs in the front is the 4x4 scenario. Obviously, you don''t go 4 wheeling with this truck, but I have traveled a lot up and down the I-5 corridor and should you get caught where you need 4-Hi I don't know if those tires are going to be what...
For future reference for others in this mess, if you narrow it down to the main board I second Loren's recommendation of Dinosaur Electronics. I have owned RV's for a long time and three of them have wound up needing replacement boards at one time or another, the quality of the Dinosaur units is...
The only downside I see to the Sundowners is the limited height in the bedroom. At 64 crawling around up there to get in and out of bed wouldn't be much fun. We sold a large Arctic Fox Camper due to this issue.
They build good stuff, and I sent them an email suggesting they consider researching...
2014 5th wheel here with Onan 4000 EVAP.
At about 120 hours the fuel pump died. I looked at the thing and it's location and decided to put a small electric aftermarket pump in place of the stock one. Found one that was internally regulated at 4PSI.
Unit starts much quicker now. I regularly use...
Hi guys. Been gone awhile but back now...
My truck is now at 48k, the last 10k I have put on it. It is getting close to time to do the front brakes and since we live in the mountains and tow regularly, either a boat or a mid size 5th wheel toy hauler, I would like any thoughts you guys might...
