good luck trying to get that plastic screw piece from the dealer. it should cost about 2 bucks, but they don't sell it that way. you have to buy the whole assembly for about $185. mine broke with 36500 on my 05. i have not been able to find this part anyware. thinking of having it...
loose change
I've got the same thing going with my 05, it sounds like someone left some quarters some place inder the back of my truck. If you ever find out what it is, please let me know. . I'll do the same. norton
i was looking at my truck today and noticed how bed that black piece of plastic under my front bumper is looking. i've tried back to black and other products to make it look good but nothing worked. do i need it, does it do anything, i don't think it's at all good looking. ?????????????

Pads
I have 127k on my 05,,4x4 and tow a 32ft 5th wheel and the original brakes are still ok, thanks in part to my exhaust brake. If I have to replace them, I'll do it with original equipment.
thanks p dog, i did what you said and it came off. the diesel guy a dodge said they can't be cleaned and should just be replaced. and they should be replaced every 75000, according to his cummins rep. thanks again. norton
