Pads I have 127k on my 05,,4x4 and tow a 32ft 5th wheel and the original brakes are still ok, thanks in part to my exhaust brake. If I have to replace them, I'll do it with original equipment.

thanks p dog, i did what you said and it came off. the diesel guy a dodge said they can't be cleaned and should just be replaced. and they should be replaced every 75000, according to his cummins rep. thanks again. norton

it's an 05, 5. 9, the article had instructions on how to get it off. I'm finding it difficult to remove and don't want to force it.
