I was a TDR subscriber in the early years before later models overtook the magazine. Now my truck and I are both geezers however, the truck looks much better than me. It's had a cushy life. Folks in random shopping center parking lots complement me on the restoration job - NOT. It's all original. I live in the high desert and the truck resides indoors, (no rust). I'm returning to TDR because the miserable Getrag transmission has been the bane of my truck's existence. It's a malignancy that periodically goes into remission and returns no matter the treatment. It's a long and sorted tale with several chapters. I'll spare you the details.
