Within the past few months I received a postcard describing a class action lawsuit involving the clutch safety interlock switch installed on certain Chrysler 2006- 2007 model year vehicles with manual transmissions. I am surprised that I can't find any discussions of this on the TDR forum as it...
Since you are coming in from the east you might want to consider some extra time to spend at the Cody Museum. Cody is just east of the east entrance. They have lots of great displays and probably the premier gun collection in the country. Another good wildlife viewing area in the park is Hayden...
We have a 1998 Lance Squire 4000 (9-1/2') that we purchased new. As noted above it is one of the wood-framed models prior to the newer aluminum frame design. We've never had a moment's problem with the camper itself (have had some work done on the furnace which is to be expected of a 14 year old...
Just completed a PacBrake installation on my 07 CTD. I found the PacBrake instructions clear and easy to follow. The only problem I ran into during installation was one I had read about here previously and that was installation of the white wire pin from the switch to the ECM 50 pin connector...
In case you weren't aware, Pacbrake is offering a $100 rebate on purchase price of the PRXB if purchased before March 1. See their website for details and rebate form.
Now that jelag (Pacific Clutch and Brake) has retired, does anyone have any suggestions regarding a good place to order a PacBrake PRXB? I remember jelag offering special deals to TDR members and was wondering if anyone else is offering similar deals.
Here are a couple more disadvantages to a dually. There's a blizzard going outside right at the moment (otherwise I'd be at work) and that means I definitely would not drive the dually unloaded (why would you want to drive a dually unloaded?). Second is the problem with driving off-road (Forest...
I've had a PJ gooseneck 25' for about 8 years. It has tandem axles but not dual wheels which is the only thing I regret about it. Occasionally it would be nice to have the additional capacity of the duals. I mainly haul 1 ton (1600 - 1800 lbs - I haul 6 at a time) bales of hay with it but have...
Grizzly,
Yes, I knew they had gone to the aluminum upper frame so I was surprised that the newer ones weighed substantially more than ours (the weight I quoted came from the 2000 catalog). I looked at the current floor plan and realized that there is now a small slide in the bedroom which ours...
I've been pulling an Arctic Fox 27-5L for 10 years now. GVW on our 2000 model year is 10,400 lbs. I pulled it for 8 years with our stock 3/4 ton 1997 Dodge CTD with manual transmission. The last 2 years I have used our stock 1 ton dually 2007 Dodge CTD with manual transmission. Like the others...
OBD Port
Tried to find the ODP port on my 07. I understood that it would be just to the passenger's side of the steering column low on the dash. I've looked all over behind the dash, down low and can not find it. Any suggestions?
Yes, thanks that makes sense. I don't have gauges yet on the 07 and I limit my speed to 65 mph with the camper or the trailer - just seems more comfortable to drive that speed than faster and it keeps rpm around 2000.
